“Businessman and writer Max De Pree said, ’We cannot become what we want to be by remaining what we are.’ In the same vein, we strive to continuously find new, more effective ways of delivering the premium client experience. We do this by successfully utilizing new technologies and the diverse skillsets of our team so that we can maximize the time that we invest into our most important asset: our clients.”

My role at Willow Creek has grown over my years on the team, but I always remain passionate about a few things: leadership, efficiency, consistency, and client experience. In my role as CEO, I am excited to add another passion: helping to craft the vision of the firm for the future and work together with our incredibly talented and experienced team toward that vision. I believe that our organization’s vision should be bold enough that we will never truly reach it, but that it is always our guiding star.
It is this deeply rooted compass of Willow Creek - our mission, vision, and core values – that originally led me here. From my career beginnings out of the University of California, Davis, I spent eight years with the Trust and Investment Management Group at Exchange Bank in Santa Rosa. While eventually becoming an Assistant Vice President and a bank officer, I learned the intricacies of client care, back office operations, compliance, technology, and portfolio management. I also realized how much I enjoy leading teams and ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and support they need to do their jobs effectively and provide the highest level of client service and experience.
To paraphrase Max DePree, I believe very strongly that the role of a leader is to enable his or her team to realize their full potential, and I am proud that we continue to pursue our highest standards of client care as a unified team. As we grow and evolve as a firm, we will build on our strong client-first foundation, increase the depth of our expertise, and empower our team to set and reach ever higher standards of client experience.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Like so many of us at Willow Creek, I was born and raised in Sonoma County. Currently, I live in Windsor and have since 2008. I have been an active member of the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue (SAR) Unit since 2009, and I currently serve as a search manager and duty officer. You can learn more about my experience and passion for SAR in this video.
