This position is responsible for the growth, development, oversight, representation, and management of the Advisor team. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversight and day-to-day management of Advisor team.
Liaison from Advisor team to Director of Operations and Executive Committee.
Provide planning, communication, and ongoing coaching resources to the Advisor team.
Monitor and balance client load across Advisor team.
Oversee consistent engagement of next generation clients (both through business development and engagement of children of existing clients).
Oversight of financial planning tools and software and exploring new software and capabilities for the Advisor team (financial planning tools, etc.).
Oversee areas of M&A that impact the Advisor team (tuck-ins, client acquisitions, etc.).
Primary responsibility for business development process, pipeline oversight, and accountability.
Manage and facilitate annual performance review process for Advisor team.
Monitor compensation for Advisor team and recommend changes.
Monitor future capacity needs within the Advisor team and recommend staffing changes/needs.
Monitor and understand any client attrition.
Participate in Marketing Committee and help to maintain consistent focus on ideal clients.
Participate in the Content Review Panel and help to ensure all written content is accurate, professional, and tailored to the appropriate audience.
Continuously review and drive the evolution of the client experience.
Be engaged with client outreach programs (events, lunches, feedback loops, etc.).
Oversight of Advisor team individual and shared goals.
Set and monitor professional/career development goals for all advisors.
Monitor and review new client fee structures and exceptions.
Engage external resources for education and coaching of the Advisor team.
Lead talent acquisition process within Advisor team.
Mentor, coach, and develop advisors in earlier career stages.
Facilitate discussion around consistency in planning process and comprehensive review process across all advisors.
Drive best practices for financial planning and client experience through collaboration within the Advisor team.
Monitor attendance of conferences and sharing of new ideas and expertise.
Maximize potential of advisor time and efficiency during work hours.
REQUIREMENTS
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding and direct experience with all service offerings.
At least five years of experience in financial services leadership/management.
Bachelor's degree.
Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management.
